Adhesion primer for spray paint

One-component, solvent-containing primer in 400 ml spray can.
Professional product that allows the painting of plastic objects with spray varnish (El.Mi poduct no. 640963A).
Highly elastic, it guarantees excellent adhesion, quick application and fast drying.
Suitable for hard plastic furniture, exterior mirror housings, spoilers, bumpers, plastic parts on the floor.
In case of use with different substrates, it is recommended to test the product on a portion of the object to be coated, before proceeding with the definitive application.
Its glazed silver colour enables the control of the already painted surface.

Specifications

• Compatible substrates: ABS, PA, PC, POM, PP/EPDM, PPO, PUR, PVC, etc.
• Yield: approx. 2.5 mq / 400 ml (1 spray can) – Dry film thickness: max. 20 µm
• Colour: Transparent Silver
• Operating temperature: from +10 °C and up to 80% of relative humidity.

Method of use:

• Before proceeding with the treatment, the underground has to be clean, dry and completely degreased
• Shake the can vigorously before use, until you can hear the sound of the mixing balls
• Apply 2/3 coats in thin layers (the layer thickness should be approx. 3/5 µm) from a distance of approx. 20/30 cm
• After use, turn the can upside down and spray the nozzle empty (this operation prevents paint residues to get dried into the nozzle)
• DRYING TIMES:
  – Between each spray coat: 2/3 minutes
  – Dust dry in 5/10 minutes
  – Overpaintable after approx. 10 minutes.
