Description
EPA access control RFID test station
RFID TEST STATION – Tester for checking ESD safe wristbands, equipped with RFID identification system and Ethernet connection.
Wall-mounting device. It allows checking personnel’s grounding before entering an ESD protected area, recording the access data in an internal data logger that can be accessed via LAN for export. The management software is included.
Can be connected to an entrance barrier thanks to the integrated output relay.
Modular system, extendable for checking ESD safe footwear by connecting a measuring footplate (NOT included).
Alternative configurations available: Kit with stand and footplate (El.Mi code 159580K), Kit with turnstile and footplate (El.Mi code 159580F).
List of accessories: RFID sensor for exit recording (El.Mi code 159580E), Footplate for column stand (El.Mi code 159580P), Column stand (El.Mi code 159580S), Footplate for turnstile (El.Mi code 159580D), Turnstile (El.Mi code 159580B), Handrail for turnstile (El.Mi code 159580C).
Functioning
The tester performs measurements in accordance with the IEC 61340-5-1 standard and can be used for this purpose at any time, even without being logged in.
The recognition system allows you to create up to 1000 unique users and associate them with staff RFID badges.
A radio frequency signal allows the tester’s integrated contactless reader to recognize the operator’s badge when shown.
As an alternative to the use of RFID badges, users can be associated with an ID/password access key.
The security level of RFID badge access can be increased by requiring the entry of a 3 or 6-digit code.
It is possible to create up to 10 predefined profiles to be associated with active users based on their roles. Each profile defines measurement limits, parameters to monitor, relay behavior (if the tester is connected to a door) and permissions to allow visitors. Visitors also have their own profiles.
After performing the test, the operator displays the access data on the LCD screen (User, Date/Time, Measured values, PASS/FAIL result).
The internal data logger stores this data, making it available remotely via an Ethernet connection.
