SP70 S Pistol grip soldering iron
SP70 S – Thermo-regulated soldering gun with manual solder feed. “S” version, equipped with stand-by function.
It can accomodate both leaded and lead-free solder wires from Ø 0.7 up to 1.7 mm. At each trigger activation the wire advances toward the tip for a length that can be adjusted within a range of 1.0 / 4.0 mm.
A controller on the handle allows the operator to adjust power from 0% to 100% (max. power 70 W).
A red LED light indicates the correct functioning of the resistor.
Compared to its previous version (SP70, El.Mi code 650690A), SP70 S comes with a motion sensor which enables stand-by mode: after 2 minutes without movement, the soldering iron automatically lows its power to 40% (if power > 40%, otherwise it remains unchanged), and after another 20 minutes of inactivity it goes into stand-by mode. The iron is reactivated on its first movement, returning to the previously set power.
Old versions can be updated to the new functionality upon request.
